I might do a double major in college. But how hard is it? I want to major in culinary arts, and a science major. I don't know the specific name of the science major but its science. Will it be that hard? I'm a sophomore.

I could've done a double major for the same amount of hours as getting one major and two minors so I opted for the latter. It gave me a lot more flexibility in my scheduling and I got to take classes that I wanted to, not just the requirements to graduate.

I would suggest picking a science that goes in hand with the major you are looking into. Science is a hard major to begin with, but you can make it easier on yourself by choosing another major in science that builds on your first major. I am a marketing and finance major and they build on each other.

The only problem with a double major is that you don't have time to take any other elective classes that may interest you, only those to meet your major requirements. If these are both subjects that interest you, though, there's no reason not to. Good luck.
