I began my period on the 24th of november. today (12/7) my cervical mucus was normal consistancy and texture, but it was very dark brown almost black. when i wiped it was a little pinkish brownish. i had intercoarse on 12/2 and 12/4. is it too early for implantation...or even ovulation? my cycle is usually around 30 days

It CAN actually be implantation bleeding..... it happens 5 - 12 days after intercourse..... at this time the timing seems perfect. But I'm a little concernend about the brownish BLACK coloring..... that's NOT normal !!!!!!!!!!! Give it another week or two.... if you miss your period... take a pregnancy test !!! Good Luck ...... 8)

It could be ovulation spotting (if you have ovulated), but it's too early to be implantation spotting. Implantation spotting is rare (one in three women) and occurs about 6-12 days after ovultion/conception. Hence why some women mistake it for their period.

I highly suggest picking up the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Welscher. It will answer alot of questions you may have (it did for me).
