Macys
Ross or Stage depending on where u are
Goodwill has nice things sometiems
TJ Maxx

I think u should find a store that still has summer things like on a really big sale. So it costs less. Then just pick like a sleeveless 1 in a nice color. And get some thing 2 wrap around u at Walmart or another cheap place. Like a shall or a big scarf. That would look good for winter.

You could try a dress agency? They are proper shops that sell nearly new posh frocks? You'd be able to get something that was a little better quality that way for the same money, maybe even designer? I've taken several of my dresses down there, most of which were for work do's, planet etc that cost originally in the region of £120+ new and only ever got worn once! They buy them off people then resell them. Oh the days when I had that sort of spare cash before having sprogs and giving up work! :o)

Just type dress agency in on yell.com to see where your local ones are.

Believe it or not, you can find a great dress at Macy's for under $25! They will usually have a sale rack that is at least 60% off, with an additional 40% or something along those lines. You wouldnt believe how many dresses I have gotten for under $20!

Peacocks have some great stuff if there is a branch near you, New Look is fairly cheap and have beautiful dresses,Primark is dirt cheap but you run the risk of seeing too many women wearing the same outfit as you!

Have you tried your local charity shops? You can get some lovely dresses this time of year I know of one that keeps all the special bling and party frocks on the side until this time of year.

Ross, Marshalls, Burlington Coat Factory(sometimes on sale), Agaci, Forever 21, I guess Macy's since many have mentioned there (I'm going to go look myself!) :) Charlotte Russe, Or borrow one from a friend that wears your size! Then just add your own accessories to make it different
