Dealing with a very spoiled spouse?

I make a decent income but I am not rich.... My wife is constatntly unhappy because there are things she wants btu can't have... I give my wife well over 500 dollars a month to shop but she always ends up crying, angry and unhappy because theres something she cant have. I constantly hear her say "whats the point of living if I can't have the things I wants". I know she needs counsiling but she went to therapist a year ago, but he rasied his rates, she refuses to go to therapy unless she can go to that specific therapist but in order to do so, she'll have to cut back on her shopping which will only make her more upset... I dont know ....can anybody offer any useful advice....?

I would stop giving her money and see how she likes that. I wonder how she would feel if she didnt have an awesome husband like u. Trust me some of us dont have the privilage of having a good man in our lives and I know me personally would kill to have an awesome man in my life...Tell ur wife to grow up and get over it, for one day she might wake up and u will be gone...good luck

The only way to change her is to make her see just how good she has it. Unfortunately this means taking away what she has. You could refuse to give her money until she sees a therapist. You pay the therapist bill and resume w/ the $500/month after she has completed treatment. BAM!

Tell her that if she wants more stuff to get a job, earn her own money, and buy it. Also, start fining her, but tell her beforehand that you're going to do it before you begin doing it. Each time she cries because she can't get something she wants, calmly and matter-of-factly tell her, "That just cost you $20 out of your 500." And then follow through. If she cries when it's time to hand her the $480, tell her she has been fined again, and give her only $460. And so on.

once you're unmarried, she isn't your better 0.5. the first situation you need to do to handle it truly is bypass out. end living at the same time till you both be sure out extra sensible thoughts of talking, or be sure to split up altogether.

YOU NEED TO GET A BACK BONE..IF SHE WANTS TO SPEND IT, MAKE HER EARN IT. SHE MAY GAIN RESPECT FOR MONEY IF SHE HAS TO WORK FOR IT. THEN AGAIN-YOU MAY HAVE CAUSED THIS. EITHER WAY SOMETHING WILL HAVE TO GIVE BEFORE YOUR FLAT BROKE. ASK YOURSELF WHAT SHE WOULD DO IF YOU CUT HER OFF. I THINK THAT ANSWER IN ITS SELF MAY ANSWER SO MANY MORE IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
