I think sometimes women who had unstable relationships with their mom and dad carry that over to their romantic ones.
If they were neglected as a child they will unconsciously seek out someone who will neglect them in a romantic relationship too.

thats very untrue. why would someone NOT want to be treated right? a woman, or at least me, likes to be treated right and i DO NOT like to be taken for granted. some women make the mistake as to mistreating their men and seem to be dazed and confused but i don't believe that they truly want to be disrespected. No one wants to be taken for granted, and if they are, they are blinded by love to see it. maybe they can't see it. You have to look outside the box sometimes...

Maybe you are looking for the wrong type of woman- not all women go looking for a bad man or want to be treated badly. Step back and look at yourself and and why you are feeling the way you do. sound like your looking for love in all the wrong places. good luck!

this is the LGBT forum you're posting in. I have male friends, but I don't date them (don't hate them, just not attracted to them). I think you're asking this question of the wrong people (unless there's any bisexual woman that could help you out here?).
however, I have a lot of straight female friends that have great husbands/boyfriends....so, I think this would be considered generalizing.

women like to chase but not too far that they feel not wanted let the other do some chasing too not just you they will love it
e.g not responding asap and not the nice talk all the time be a bit mean sometinmes but not to mean
