the road waiting to cross. You wave at the person to let them know to go ahead, you'll wait, and the freakizoid jumps in the passenger seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do you do? Keep in mind that I am a woman and this actually did happen to me in Myrtle Beach.

I know, I know- I keep my car doors locked now at all times

as soon as freak-a-zoid grabs the latch to open your door, GUN IT! just spin out and be gone. you can go a lot faster than he can. but if he somehow makes it into your car, i'd suggest a large knife stored in the driver side door...you know that little pocket that's in just about every car? yeah. he sits down, makes himself comfy, and you jam that thing into his throat. if you can, pin him to your seat. when he stops struggling, rip the knife out and push him out of your car. then call 911 and explain that you were only acting in self defense. you perceived a threat to your person, and you, being a woman, and him, being a man, thought it necessary o take that threat very seriously, and you took actions, as you saw necessary, until you saw that the threat was no longer present.

EDIT: sorry for the graphic nature of my answer. i just felt the fear of the situation as though i were in it.

Well, that would be a start...I ALWAYS keep my passenger door locked, and even my driver's side if I'm going through unfamiliar neighborhoods. A woman driving alone, you can never be too safe!

I would punch them in the face and keep hitting until they got out. Most cars nowadays have doors that lock automatically once you are in, and that is a good thing!

Uhmm....I would've just let them know that I just wanted to let them cross the street.
If they ask for a ride......I'd tell them to get out of my car.
I can't trust a stranger who just jumped in my car in the passenger's seat!

That is crazy! What did you do?
I always tell people not to use their remote keys on cars until they are at the vehicle, someone could be near it and get in if you unlock it from a distance.

I always have my car door locked, I watch as people approach my car, and I am always ready to gun away. The second it looked suspicious I would have been gone.

Scream, wet my pants, struggle to get out my door, run away, and tell my husband someone stole the car. That's my standard procedure.

happened to me in Atlanta. I drove her to where she wanted to go and let it go. She didn't smell real good either.

Thank goodness the door locks automatically when the gears are engaged.

Yikes! If you feel safe, just offer to take them where they need to go....I guess. If not politely ask them to get out! If that doesn't work just start acting really crazy and maybe they will leave on their own!
