I think if these two guys switched teams, the Bears might still be undefeated. Put David Carr behind a good offensive line and he will be fantastic. He's got a great arm.

As for Grossman, you know how he plays when he gets hit alot, so he would be horrible for the Texans.

Oh Man, I can't believe people are saying Rex Grossman. I think that's an illusion, a lot of smoke and mirrors because he is on a winning team. Chicago would be so much better without him, unstoppable as a matter of fact.
David Carr is silently having a great statistical year, but unfortunately he can't spark his team to a win. I guess a QB needs to do both...huh?
Given this info I would still have to go with Carr only because he has good stats and Rex Grossman does not. Also, Rex is not sparking his team, that defense is.

Wow, this hurts. The fact someone would diss Grossman is heartbraking. Keep in mind all you Rex haters, this is his only his 4th year. And if you include injuries, this is really like his 2nd. He needs a tiny-weeny more experience, and he'll be fine. He's got a good possession WR in Moose and one of the best deep threats in Berrian. GROSSMAN BY FAR!
As for Carr, everyone says he needs a better offensive line to be great. That's great but, Carr isn't leaving Houston for awhile. If a team uses a #1 overall pick on a guy, he's gonna be there at least 7-10 years. He will never be good w/o that O-Line and the Houston management is too dumb to draft good linemen.

David Carr, no doubt. Carr's struggles have resulted from being behind a horrible OL. If they could ever get him some protection and a decent running game, I think Carr could be very successful. Grossman is winning as a result of his awesome D, not because he's a good QB.

Carr. Grossman has an amazing defense behind him and all he has to do is not completely blow to win games. But he can't even do that most of the time. He has good receivers and blocking to help him. Carr has a horrible team all around him. His line is so bad he spends most of his time running from the rush and can't make good throws. He has to play really well just to keep the Texans in a game.

Carr is far superior.

Look at the passing ratings. Plus the fact that Houston hasn't protected Carr since he was drafted and Grossman is only on the map because the Bear's D is playing like pitbulls on crack and keeping opponents from scoring.

David Carr, Worst team in the NFL but for weeks had the best QB Rating and Rex is on the best team in football and had in his last game a QB Rating of 1.6, That is awful!!!

I would like to see what Carr could do when he gets some protection and doesn't get sacked fifty times a season. Gorssman will have better numbers, but I think he is being supported by his offense's running attack and his team's great defense, things Carr does not have.

David Carr if you get him a good offensive line to protect him and give him some time to work with.
