Would you be surprised or mad if the Japanese (not Japs) remember that date differently from you? How do you want them to remember? And do you and they remember the days atomic bombs were dropped on them killing millions the same way?
History is interpreted differently depending on the individual and nation. Do not expect the same interpretation from various groups.

I don't know if they remember but many of them visit Pear Harbor. When I went there I wondered how they felt about it. It is a very solomn place. I wonder if they feel the same way we do or if it still a victorious occassion.

Many Japanese WWII veterans, especially the pilots who were there visit Pearl Harbor as a anniversary and meet with the American veterans who were there.

Oh, they remember it alright. They also understand that they were there because their government required it of them.
They have no ill will toward Americans.
