The homes are in changing neighborhoods. They all have steel doors and windows but I need a mobile security device. Any recomendations?

Actually there is a new alarm out that is placed in the house or building that uses infra red to detect movement.
You have about 20-30 seconds to disable, if not it will dial up to 9 differant number using a cell phone design in the unit. Check with your local tool rental. they usually go for about $30.00 a month.

You can get alarms that stick to the doors. I have seen them in like 8 packs at Bed Bath & Beyond. They don't connect to anything... Just scare away people. And those fake camera's too. I don't know how well they would work though.
