im in college (about to finish my first semester) and i need tips on how to handle stress. I hate how i feel and how i treat ppl when i get stressed out. what do you do to handle stress?

Here are my steps to cope with stress:

1. Get your mind off of work and go to the gym or watch a little bit of TV (Comedy movie, but only 20-30 minutes of it)

2. Eat right (No Burger King, try coffe and eat healthy sandwhich's and salads)

3. Pray (This is the most powerful way to calm your mom)

4. Talk to a preacher or a friend and talk about your struggles

5. Talk to a college physicatrist (If you got one)

6. Talk to your professor (If he is approcable, if you go to an Ivy school your prfessor well get pissed and hide in a closet and work on quantum physics or something)

7. Dance and listen to music

8. Reflect about all the good things you did in high school.....

Just relax, go chill out somewhere, buy something to ease the stress, enjoy the scenery. I tried to handle stress through doing something else which i find interesting..some hobbies maybe. Im about to grad soon and so far im A-OK. I have indulge in collectibles/toys and i like it.

Do the next right thing plan your day by planning your study time & play time & stick to it, don't project the worse on upcoming tests.apts.,know your limitations know youe assets & plan accordingly don't wait for it to happen know your capabilities & be aware of yourslef & treating people in an illmanered way is unaceptabe!!!.Take care of all of these things now so you can live a good & rewarding life.

Find one of those squishy stress balls and squeeze to your heart's content. Or you can breathe in for 18 seconds and out for 9 seconds. Always helps me!!!

Don't worry about the harder things and relax also deep breaths help too. anther tip is a stress ball

make a schedule- organize your life. I believe it is said that it doesn't matter how much you can get done in a certain amount of time but what you are determined to get done that makes you successful. I'm having problems with this too...

Walk briskly every day for at least 30 minutes at one time. It releases endorphins & makes me feel as though I can manage anything.
