I started the bcp back in january. Then, in april I got sick (literally sick ie.vomitting). I didn't know too much what it was until my mom suggested that it was the pill. So after being sick monthly from april to october, I got off the pill. Just like that. I finished the pack and never took it back again. In November, when came that time of month, I wasn't sick. So as I concluded, it was the pill that had been making me sick. I'm wondering if I could still go back on it without any trouble. A different one of course. And I plan on going to the dr. and them why I got off it and stuff. Is it possible to go back without any troubles or did I mess up my system at some point?

The same think happened to me. I used to get sick every morning with a pill called Marvelon. The pill tricks your body in thinking it's pregnant so every once in a while, you'll feel really sick. The pill you were taking probably had too much hormones (estrogen usually) for you in it. When you see your doctor, tell him or her about it your situation, he or she prescibe something more appropriate to you. Then, you can start taking it again just like last time but you should feel much better this time.

Good luck!

Id go talk to the dr and explain what happened. I had alot of troubles finding a pill that worked for me. Id try one and have side effects so go back to the doctor to get another one. Its a bit of trial and error in finding one that works for you.
Good luck!!

There shouldn't be any trouble. Your dosage may have been to high...I always take mine right before I go to bed, so if I feel sicky, I won't know, because Im asleep. I felt sick one time when I first started taking them and I took it in the morning...I threw up...so I recomend maybe switching times when you take it.

you can go back on it. women who are on it decide it is time to have a child, they get off and then after they have a baby often get back on. so you did nothing to mess up your "system".
