Yes I have 3 times. I have been on the roller coaster you are talking about. it is called the dragster. It was the first roller coaster I had ever been on. It is so high you can see across lake eerie to Canada. Also if you put your arms up they will be broken by the wind and speed. My favorite ride was the Mantis... because it was a lot of loops and not a lot of height.

I live in Ohio an that is an every year thing for me. Last year I went twice. I love it there. Much better that Geaga Lake here. But now Cedar Point owns that park also and maybe they will grow. We did go to Geaga Lake this year and we got on the rides so quickly that we were done riding everything by 4pm. That kinda sucked. The only problem I have at Cedar Point is the lines are very long and you have to pick a very good day to go. So try before the kids get out of school and before they go back. If you don't have children yourself that is.

I am a seasonal pass holder at Cedar Point. It is known as the "Roller Coaster Capital of the World." The ride you are thinking of is called "The Top Thrill Dragster" it accelerates to over 120 mph in less than 6 seconds and goes 420 ft straight up then 420 ft straight down in a corkscrew, it is an 18 second ride. My personal favorite ride happens to be Millenium Force. It was the first of the modern age "Hyper-Coaster" it is 300 ft tall and goes over 93 mph! Cedar Point was the first park to have a coaster top 200 ft, 300 ft and 400 ft!

I was raised in Cleveland, Oh and I used to go there every summer at least once and if I was lucky, I would get to go a 2nd time. They have some Awesome Roller Coasters!! I now live in the state of Missouri and I haven't been back to Cedar Point in over 7 years and I miss it terribly. They now have 17 Roller Coasters and the Raptor is on my favorites. I also like the thrill ride Chaos, and Tower of Power. I have yet to ride some of the bigger coasters, because the year that I left they built The Millenium.

yea, I've been there. The roller coaster that is the highest in the world ( well, it was 2 years ago, till someone built one like 5 feet taller) is called Top Thrill Dragster. This is something some one sent me in an email about it:
With a record-breaking height of 420-feet and record-breaking speed of 120 mph, Top Thrill Dragster delivers on its promise of thrilling riders this summer at Cedar Point.
It was great, but yea, it lasted like 30 seconds, and it took over 2 hours in line. That was about all the time i had at the park was waiting in line for that ride.

You're welcome.
Yes & so has my husband & his dad & a friend of ours. Also a friend of mine went with her husband.
My husband & I & our friend have been on the Dragster twice. Awesome! Also been on the Millenium many times, & just as awesome & my father-in-law has been on the Millenium too. My friend & her husband waited 6hrs for the Dragster & never got on because it broke down for good that night. Plus they had only gone for the starlight time & so had never been on a ride that day. The park gave them a first in line pass for the Dragster & one other ride of their choice for the next day, plus paid for them to get in the park next day free. They used the Dragster pass, then used the other pass on the Millenium, which they knew they liked from a prev visit they made there. They started going to Cedar Point because we told them how great it was. Then they went on other rides & decided to try the Dragster again that night for their last ride. They got on this time & when the ride was done, there were only a few people waiting to get on & a few seats were then left open, so they asked if they could stay on the ride & the ride operators let them, so they went on it twice in a row. So three times total that day. That 2nd day more than made up for their bad day.
That park is just awesome, we rarely ever go to our usual Six Flags park anymore in Illinois, because we like Cedar Point so much even though it's further away. Take a trip there. It will be well worth it. :)
Oh & by the way, the Dragster goes apprx 120-124 mph, not 250 mph. But is 400+ feet high. It is apprx 20 sec long ride.
We're thinking of going there again this summer. Last time we were there was 2004. So has been a while for us. They have a new coaster called Maverick that we want to try as well as go on the ones we know we like. :)

1. Cedar Point is awesome.
2. Top Thrill Dragster is 420ft. tall and 120mph. Not 140 or 250. 250 would kill you.
3. Millenium Force is better anyways.

Cedar Point was awesome. I watched my now ex husband ride all those huge roller coasters and my son and I laughed at him. I enjoyed the ferris wheel and looking out over the lake.

I liked it better before it became roller coaster central. How many times can I go and down at a high rate of speed before it become old? I have rode roller coasters all over the world and none of them are any different then the others.
