Racism must be part of human nature and if this is so, it will never go away. I only ask this question b/c I was amazed at the amount of racist comments that are on here. Since we can hide behind screen names on here, maybe this place is a better representation of the amount of racism in the world as opposed to what we see during our daily lives (sounds weird, but think about it).
I bet part of the answer is that we feel the need to categorize and group each other and color is a very easy way to do it. Once the grouping is done, competition comes in to play and then racisms shows its ugly head.

Racism is the belief that your race is superior to all others, regardless of evidence to the contrary. As far as I can see, there are idiots in the world of all races, so in that way, we're pretty much equal. Racists suffer from low self-esteem, and degrading those of other races is their way of compensating for self-loathing. Your best bet? Ignore the ignorant.

Racism is another way or form of persecution, it was first experience by the Spiritual World which experiences Satan's persecution. Racism a/o persecution is some of the product of Evil and Evil forces that peoples will allow their self to practice against others, blindly ignorantly.

People just like being part of a group, and the best way to prove you're one of the guys is to hate anyone who isn't. Color, religion, hell there all excuses to hate. Good example... Sports.. think how many people get in arguments over sports... meaningless sports. Buffalo Sabres fans hate Maple Leaf fans. And I'm sure it goes both ways. So if we can't get past teams, we'll never get past color
