If I try wearing a nail polish for a few days and discover I don't like it what else can I use the nail polish for?
Should I take it back to the store where I bought it or use it for my toes? Or just throw it away if it was not that expensive?

Some stores have a return policy for used cosmetics but you may want to try putting a sheer color over it to change the shade slightly. Many cosmetic companies sell top coats that are tinted and/or have glitter suspended in them. A small change can give the polish a totally different look.
You can also try having a nail polish exchange party with your friends. Many people have bottles of unused polish laying around that another person may want to try. So why not invite everybody to bring their unwanted nail polish over and allow people pick "new" colors?

A group of us women at work do exchanges. We all like to try new stuff but sometimes its just a flop.
I've traded things like cds, nail polish, eye shadows.. even perfume. I say the best bet it to give it to someone.
Or if you get your nails done at a salon somewhere take it in to them. I used to do that. One place even let me trade for one of their colors I liked. They go through so much that pretty much any color is good for them.

Don't throw it away & because you've used it the store probably won't take it back.
I would pour some out & pour a different color polish in with it & miz to try & achieve the color you wanted.

Give it to a friend.
Give it to a little girl but ask their parent's permission first. My niece LOVED nail polish when she was little.

u could use it to like decorate cards n stuff.
or give it to a friend who might like it, or a younger girl they love anything. and if ur not a product junkie just throw it a way or keep it...who knows what u could use it 4

Anything that you dont like or use you should look into donating it to a womens shelter, or church, they really need things everywhere! And if you look around you could find it to be tax dedeductable as well,,,

take it back or if you don't get out much to exchange it write to the company and they will probably send you a postage stamp to send it back and then they issue you a refund
