I'm on my third pack right now and I got used to starting my period when I started my placebo pills. I just want to know if this is normal. Somebody please reassure me.

P.S. I also have a cold, so I'm wondering if that could also be a reason for me not to have my perios.

That's normal. One of the side effects of the pill is that it can make your periods lighter and shorter in duration.

When I first started taking the pill (and I was a Sunday starter) I got my period usually on the second day of the placebo pills, then it kept getting later and later into the placebo pills. Towards the end I was getting my period on the Friday after starting the inactive pills.

Also, if this is only your third month on the pills then your body is still getting used to the hormones. It could vary a little bit from month to month, but as long as you have taken the pills as directed you should be okay.

If you are concerned that you might be pregnant take a home pregnancy test.

No, don't worry just yet. I used to always start within a day or two of starting the placebo pills, but gradually, after years of being on the pill, my periods have come later and later until usually they start on Friday or Saturday (I'm a Sunday starter).

Yes you are suppose to start your period when you start your placebo pills. Having a cold will have no affect on when you start your period.

Skipping your era has no effect on how your pills paintings. It doesn't make it extra accessible that you'll get pregnant. i quite does no longer be to stressful in the journey that your pill became decrease than 24 hours overdue. you may continually take a HPT, yet i imagine you're stressing over no longer some thing.

may try taking a preg test (over the counter) just to make sure.

other than that, it may just be a pill affect.
