Assuming that you have the transmission clear...

With the flywheel in both hands, place at the rear of the engine...
Look to see if ALL the bolt holes line up properly...
If not rotate untill they do.
When they do, place the bolts to secure it.
After learning the torque spec's, fully secure with an appropiate torque wrench.
(This would be the time to make sure your rear main seal is good also)
After the above sequence, replace transmission.

Separate the transmission from the engine.

Typically a few bolts holding the flywheel to the crankshaft.

Much easier to do if the engine and trans are out of the vehicle.

You must first remove the transmission then replace flywheel!
