First of all you shouldn't go on that field trip, under no circumstances! And going to a doctor might be the best thing to do. You probably hate it, I know I do, but you can't risk making things worse. A doctor will see what's wrong and give you a treatment. If the pain gets unbearable, or even if you can't go to a hospital, call an ambulance and have the paramedics take you to one.
You must understand that you don't resolve anything by just staying at home, and going on a field trip definitely won't help.
Get better soon!

It sounds like your hip is out of placement, this can affect your leg and knee. My suggestion is for you not to go on the field trip. You can explain to the teacher and your school nurse. Who is the adult 'in charge' while your parents are out of town? Even if the adult is not staying there with you, see if you can have him or her write you a note to excuse you from the field trip. That or tell the school that when your parents return, they'll write the note for you. Don't just not show up. Tell the teacher and/or nurse whats going on.

Now.... do you know if your family has insurance for you to see a chiropractor? Cuz if your hip IS out, that kind of doc can put it right back into place. And your hip and knee will stop hurting. If they don't have insurance coverage for that, or if you don't know, then wait til they get back and ask them what they want you to do. You can still go to classes and stuff, just take it easy when walking around, and try to put your leg up when you can. Sit on something soft, like the couch rather than a hard chair. The idea is to 'baby' your hip and the knee that's hurting, until you can see a doc. If the pain gets absolutely awful, go to the emergency room right away.

I'm a mom of three grown sons, and this is what I'd suggest for them if I was out of town and one of them had asked this question. Running around the amusement park could just make your hip and knee even worse, and I don't think you want that.

Find a comfy place to sit for a couple minutes and see if that helps. Bring some medicine that might help along, but give it to a teacher so you don't get in trouble. Make sure you have your cell phone and your teachers cell phone #. That way you can get some pain relievers, and hopefully that will help. If the pain relievers don't work then at least you have a teacher with you, so they can take any necessary steps to call your parents or get you home, or to a doctor. Also always have a buddy with you in case of an emergency. I hope it doesn't hurt too much and you get to have some fun. Happy Holidays!

Ask a worker of the amusement park to call first aid and ask them to bring you a wheelchair so you can carry on without having to spend time at first aid also so you do not have to depend on others to wait with you because you are in pain. This way you can push yourself or have a friend push you from ride to ride and if you can walk do so until you need the wheelchair again. Just take it with you where ever you go. If you take regular breaks from time to time and walk at a slow steady pace you should be fine.

Take Ibuprofun BEFORE you go on the trip and take some with you for during the trip. IT will help erlive the aches and pains and some of the sweeling.

You do need a doctor to determine why you are hurting all the time.

IF you are a child, you will have to find out about what things your able or allowed to do. Your parents are the only ones that can answer this question for you.
