2)well I think either "mixture" or "heterogeneous mixture" (I'm actually a little unsure on this one)

ploar solvents dissolve ionic substance by breaking the ionic bond. Example. H2O dissolving NaCl.

NaCl are Na+ and Cl-. When in H2O, they get attracted to the polar molecules of water. O have a negative partial charge while H has positive charge.

Therefore, Na goes to oxygen and Cl goes to hydrogen.
