Question about Ancient greece?

Question

My teacher said to draw a picure something that represents Ancient Greece. What can I draw.

Answer before Friday.

Just go to google images and pick something out that you like and that you could draw. Or you can also print one of the pictures out and trace it. It's up to you. Good Luck!

You would benefit from browsing some history sites on the www net (here's one: http://www.museum.upenn.edu/Greek_World/Index.html). Ancient Greece was one of the founding countries of modern civilization. The Greek philosophers laid down the ground rules for a lot of modern day moral, ethic and common philosophy. Even in spot the old Greeks have had some influence on modern society - they were the ones who had started the Olympic games, especially such sports as long distance running, javelin and discus throwing and the high and long jumps. Probably the best known ancient Greek sketch is of the discus thrower which is commonly used on supposedly "ancient Greek" vases! Probably the best representative picture of Ancient Greece.

The most obvious answer is to draw the Acropolis. However, a more creative drawing might include the Trojan Horse, or one of the ancient amphitheaters.
