Why when ive deleted my browser history and cleared cache does the search history still appear on yahoo and google search bar.

I ve tried the things mentioned but when i reopen yahoo and google homepage and click in the search bar all my history is still there.

if you mean in the drop down menu then just highlight what you want to delete and hit delete on your keyboard.

Yahoo and Google search bars maintain their own database of the history. You would have to clear each individual history.

please check the settings button under your google or yahoo search toolbar and there should be an option to release your search history or delete your search history,
I got mine off all the time, i don't like people reading what I have been searching, except google :P

go to the Internet option in clear history put 0
it all will be done.
