please provide detail (showing work)

The time T required to do a job varies inversely as the number of people P working. It takes 5 hr. for 7 volunteer to pick up rubbish from 1 mi. of roadway. How long would it take 10 volunteers to complete a job?

(using this system.... y= K divided over x so y= K/x) thankyou

So...

if T = k/P, then 5 = k/7, so k = 35.

Then T = 35/10 = 3.5 hours.
