The late great George Formby who was famous for his saucy songs. When on the stage he had a habit of peeking through the curtains before the show started to see how many were there. That in its self was enough to dissolve the audience into fits of laughter. The times of a gentler time and pace when humour was a national trait. Blair has knocked that out of us, we haven't much to laugh about now.
