Sounds like the alternator is out of control. The internal regulator may be charging too much, and then draining the battery when you turn it off. An internal short in the alternator, and/or a bad regulator. The regulator is an internal part of the alternator. What you will need to do, is have the output of the alternator checked to see how much its putting out, and remove both battery cables, and back probe the alternator for continuity to ground. If it has a reading across the wire that goes from the battery to the alternator to ground, then there is a short internally in the alternator. A parts store such as Auto Zone can check this for you for free. The headlights are blowing due to far too much voltage being pumped out of the alternator. The lights are for 12 volts, and if you are getting say 20 volts out of the alternator, it will blow bulbs.
Glad I could help you. Good Luck!!!

There is obviously a short in the wiring somewhere in the car. Sounds like it could be the wires having to do with the headlights...given the blowouts and the fact that headlights are pretty much what will kill your battery the fastest. I'd recommend getting at least a continuity tester and testing wires that are hot when they shouldn't be... Without more info from you, it's hard to get too detailed...

could be a faulty head light switch or relay if the bulbs are blowing when you turn the headlights on the battery could be draining through that same fault.

THere is no question in that statement despite the question mark.
Can you be a little more descriptive. Are you concerned about the headlights, the battery, the wiring,... ?
What do you mean by blowing.. The bulb actually burns out or the lights simply go off.?
????????????????????????????????????????????
