No, they are always put on opposite sides of the bracket, so the only way they could meet is in the final four. This has never happened, or at least not since I have been a UNC fan.

no they have never met in the tournament. they play twice a year in the regular season, and commonly meet in the acc tournament, but have never gone heat to head in the NCAA tourney.
