The boy robot in A.I, chanting "Please blue fairy, make me into a real boy" over and over for centuries.
Had tears in my eyes driving to work after watching the ending.

Requiem for a Dream: When Ellen Burstyn's character is asking her son (Jared Leto) to stick around, and she's crying. Ugh, it's so heartbreaking.

Big Fish: When the son tells the story to his dad of how they escape to the river, mainly when he carries his father to the river and everyone from his life is there.

The Notebook: When she finally realizes that the story is about herself and him, and starts hugging him frantically.

Hero: Part of the "white" scenes, the fight in the desert.

Oh, Oh!! Crash: When he thinks his daughter has been shot, oh my gosh. That one was amazing. A lot of films don't touch losing a child to violence or anything like that. Very moving in a different way.

Wow, this was a really good question! Thanks!

Hmm.. in a film probably the end of part of Beaches where one of the two main characters knows she is dying and when her friend says she knows everything about her she replies "I;m counting on it" because she wants the friend to raise her daughter. So sad.

On TV shows the part in the last series of Doctor who where Madame de Pompadour says to Rose that she would not have life any other way: "One may endure a world of daemons for that sake of an angel."

I dont usually Cry at Movies but,

The end Scene, in Dances with Wolves never fails to bring a tear to my eye.

One of the Native Americans who was hostile toward LT Dunbar, is on a horse on a cliff side shouting to Leuitenant Dunbar, AKA' "Dances with Wolves"

" I will never forget you , You will always be my friend Dances with Wolves"

He shouts this numrous times and it is very emotional, it shows great friendship between to races who have learned to love each other.

Fantastic fIlm.

Field of Dreams is hard to beat. Don't want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen it, but the end scene is a corker! Its the way Kevin Costner's voice wavers slightly and just totally makes you lose it.

The scene at the end of Raising Arizona when Nic Cage's character dreams of he and his wife in their old age at a family reunion always brings a lump to the throat.

The ending scene from "Shane". Shane (Allen Ladd) knows he has to go away to keep from interfering in their lives, but there is no way to explain the reason to anyone. Brandon deWilde was a good child actor for sure. The confusion and lack of understanding on his face is classic.

In Jaws when Richard Dreyfuss is SCUIBA diving at the wreck of a sunken fishing boat . He finds the gaping hole which the shark ripped out of the boat and as he looks in the bleached white face of the fisherman floats up in front of him. I fell off the seat in the cinema and had to have several measures of the golden nectar to recover. As I weighed over seventeen stone at the time it certainly moved me!

In the movie What Dreams May Come, when Robin Williams gives up an eternity in heaven with his children to spend eternity in hell with his wife, even though he knows they won't even remember each other. It's moving, first to make the possibility of soulmates so real, and second, his immense amount of love for her.

Shawshank Redemption is so beautifully made, I always tend to get swept away in that story.......and I mean little things make it wonderful......like the bit of the aerial shot when Andy is arriving at the prison and everyone is running to watch the bus arrive and the beautiful music is playing.

There are several moments when I get a bit of a lump in my throat, time & time again.
