To the world you are just one person, but to one person you are the world.

(Most of the words are one syllable!!)

As we grow up we are told that there is more, and that it can be had for no cost. In short we spend our youth in a chase for things that do not exist. If luck is on our side, one day we learn that the thing we had at the start of our lives - pure love - is all we need, to give and to get, so that we can have a full life

I think this meets your rule for the use of short words. Cheers.

Time to learn to give love and time to learn to get love is how we grow and learn.

Phew! That one syllable requirement is a real challenge!

cos people learn from what they see at home/school/tv, and unfortunately there is a lot more fighting and dramma than love, so it's only when you get in control of your own life that you can start putting things into place and maybe give love a chance

Love is so simple, beautiful, and pure...yet we go through our youthful years complicating it and making it more difficult than it has to be,or should be.Finally, one learns to let go,and allow the love to just...flow......

To love and be loved is what it is all for, but this takes a long time to know for sure.
