I don't know.

If I killed him, then I would be a murderer. I wouldn't be justified in killing him if I did it before he came to power. Then again....I could possibly have saved millions of people. Then again...Germany was in pain and in need. Someone much worse could have cropped up in his place and done worse.

I think that if I could travel back in time and do something...I would have tried to make the big powers react sooner or at all. Many people waited too late do something about Hitler and others did nothing.

Rather than talking about the past, why don't we do something about the present. There are a lot of injustices occurring in the world today. Why don't we do something?

No. Even though it would be hard not to try. He wasn't the only person with those ideas anyway. My decision is only based on what I know now which is that the Holocaust is very important and everyone should use it as an example of something we need to try to keep from happening again. I'm afraid if I killed Hitler, something even worse may have happened possibly 20 years later in a different country. Enough bad things happen around the world even with having the Holocaust to refer back to. I wouldn't want to erase something which could help make for a better future. It's too risky. What if it's possible that Hitler murdered a few terrible people who many have caused big problems if they had lived.

No. Even though it sounds wrong, and it sounds like I want all of the Jewish people that died to die, I would not kill Hitler before he came to power. Hitler gave us a perfect example of what to look out for. If he had never came into power, someone else would have done it eventually. The fact that it happened back then before we had the technology we have now is actually a miracle. Imagine if Hitler was in power now...."Give us your country or we'll blow it up!" "Give us your women or we will drop poisonous gas in your water source!" Even though Hitler was a horrible person, somebody would have eventually done it anyways.

That would be a great thought; however, by doing this minor change to history, many other things would change. There would be too large of a negative impact on the world as a whole. I would have to say that I would leave things as they are now.

No, because of him we have learned a lot about bigots and racist pigs and history was shaped and will forever be. Plus, he tought futture leaders a thing or two about what it means to be in power and have people follow your gudiance-which is crucial in leading.
