My guess would be that they are so insecure themselves that they feel they must bash others to make themselves seem better in their own warped little minds. I'm a straight male and proud father of two who likes this section better than most since this particular community seems to THINK before posting. All the anti gay crap, and religious nonsense is posted by bigots who don't bother to research their opinions before spouting them out and making the rest of us look bad. Besides, running their mouths on line (where defense can only be verbal) isn't likely to get their prejudiced a**es beat like it would in, say a gay bar. If i may, I'd like to ask the asker a question: Don't you think that is an example of how prejudiced the world really is that this section is under "cultures and groups" instead of "family and relationships"???? Have a nice day and ignore the ignorant.

Honestly? Because many queer bashers have questions about their own sexuality. They subconsciously feel that by bashing queers they are bashing the queer in themselves.
That's not healthy.
Come out of the closet people. No one cares what your sexual preference is... The only time people jump on it is when you obviously are and deny it like Clay Aiken.

Because it's a topic that pushes major buttons in unhappy, immature, insecure people. I'm sorry they're in so much pain, but responding to their flame-bait only feeds their insatiable craving for the attention of homosexuals. The best thing to do is simply ignore them. If you're so inclined, report them, but PLEASE don't answer them.
