Get the navigation system, its actua;lly usefull and can save his life potentially.

If he spends a lot time in his vehicle, satellite radio or nav system would be nice. If he normally travels a familiar route, he would get more daily use from satellite.
If he likes music and talk radio, either XM or Sirus will work very similarly. Each also has some unique programming. Go to their respective websites to view the programming that is offered.
The radios cost about the same. The monthly cost is about the same.
I listen to mine every time I get in the car. I love talk radio and being able to listen to Christmas music all day long if I am in the mood.

I bought Sirus for my man last year and he LOVED it. He said XM sucks.

Sirius....They have a great deal now....get 2 portables for $99.00...plus they have more interesting people and things!
