it doesnt matter what the tests are for if you wouldnt hurt your own child than you have no right to hurt another mothers child, animal or human it does not matter. humans have no right deciding who lives and dies and who is tortured. it isnt fair

So, they do not TEST Humans...What is worst? A few tests on monkeys as bad as some are, or tests on humans.
Seriously people would go crazy, If we even thought about using humans as test subjects on a labatory scale.

All such testing has two purposes - to assess (1) the efficacy, and (2) the safety of a new drug or procedure before administering it to a human being. Anything less would be unethical and immoral.

One of them is to see how drugs will react with the Simian AIDS virus - a virus that is very similar to HIV (its actually called the Simian Immunodeficiency Virus, or "SIV"). It helps medical scientists to see how to combat AIDS, and it shows how we might have to battle SIV to save the species if the virus ever mutates to something more dangerous that might kill the animals. The animals seem to be able to live a long time with it, some of them dying before any signs of clinical manifestations. However, it if mutates... look out!

They test chemicals, pain tolerance, Isolation effects and more bad stuff on mokeys, which is stupid. They feel just as much as we do, so we may as well be doing these experiments on humans.
