If you're using Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Content (tab)
There you will see something called Autocomplete. Turn it off and u're good to go.
If, however, you want a temporary measure, (like delete only select entries in the list) then you can highlight the entry in question without clicking on it...and then press shift+del. This will remove that particular entry from the autocomplete list.
Hope this helps.

Are you talking about the tool bar? If so, go to the settings to fix that and it's on the tool bar to the right.
