Sounds like a reason to get Dish Network to me.

The NFL Network is not widely available on basic cable packages, and in fact I do not believe it is available on any basic cable packages. You can get it on the two major sattelite providers, DISH and DirecTV, as well as Comcast Digital and Time Warner Digital. The Network is trying to increase its distribution by having cable companies offer it as a part of their basic packages, but are having difficulties negotiating the per subscriber fee they charge the cable operator. The hope for the NFL is that enough cable subscribers will complain to their cable companies about lack of availability, and will force the companies to make the network available on their basic packages.

Who cares, they need to do away with it anyways. They might have the worst crew of announcers in the history of televised football. So terrible I put the TVon mute while watching games they televise. Hopefully some other network picks up those games next year.
