Make room...otherwise your spouse will hate you. However, they can't stay there forever

Try to understand how helpless they feel right now. Our house burned in January and there is nothing more helpless than looking at the burned rubble that used to be your home and knowing that you are homeless in the most basic form of the word. They need all the support you and their daughter can give them right now. Believe me, I know. What a horrible thing to happen to them. You have the rare opportunity of showing them how much you love and respect them while they are trying to get back on their feet again. Do the right thing and treat them with the respect they deserve and your rewards will be great!!!

I'm sorry this happened to them. You are a very kind person letting them stay with you and it's Christmas! Make the best of it. Hopefully they will be getting some insurance money and will be leaving soon. You never know, this may turn into a blessing in disguss. God Bless

Oh man thats gonna be rough! Look at it like what if your house burnt down and you needed a place to go for a while. Do your best not to get frustrated with them too quickly. Also dont let them run you over either.

Quick lock the door! No jk. Get some ear plugs though. I had my husbands dad move in with us bc his wife kicked him out. It was awful...I am glad she took him back though cause now he is out of my hair. Anyways. Good luck with that, hopefully their house can be fixed or taken care of really soon.

Run! Run as fast as your feet can take you lol. Go now pack what you need and get out of the house before they all get there lol. I would just DIE if my MIL moved in with me! I could take my FIL but not my selfish MIL! UGGG I would divorce my husband if she moved in with me!

Remember to 'begin as you mean to go on'. Be your kind, loving generous self,of course, but don't volunteer to cook dinner every night, buy all groceries, watch only what they want on T.V.,fold everyones laundry, etc. Make clear boundaries for yourself as well as allowing them their own. Take a deep breath, you will be fine....this too shall pass.
