Mestiza or Mestizo is someone of Native American and Spanish decent. Most Mexicans have mestizo blood. Some of them might have very fair skin and some might have dark skin with very light eyes. Some may even be blond. It doesn't occur much anymore but before the U.S. was formed it was very common. Especially in Texas.
