Don't see anything wrong with a free democracy protecting itself, or the US defending a country that has been under constant attack since it's inception. Every time Israel takes steps to defend itself, people claim aggression. A good question to ask a critic of Israel, "If Muslim extremists quit attacking Israel and respected the sovereignty of a democratic country, would Israel require a buffer between them and itself?" The answer, by the way, is no. But every time Israel withdraws, they are attacked. The problem isn't with Israel, it is with people that won't leave them alone. Plain and simple.

The question is not what is wrong with Israel but what is wrong with the rest of the Arab world when they have a difficult time allowing a jewish state? What do they have to fear? Or are they all just a bunch of bullies that get off on harassing others?

Israel has suffered over the centuries with the culmination of the Holocaust. However, they decided that this will never happen again but, regrettably, they have gone too far the other way in their self-protection and are now playing, in most instances the role of the aggressor - they need more compassion and discussion. This is unlikely for this to happen without some forceful talking by Europe and the USA but, the difficulty with this is that there are too many financial institutions around the world financed and dictated to by Israelie money.

Why...whatever are you getting at? Without exception, every single Israeli citizen I have ever met (7) has been a very nice person. Respectful, cordial and intelligent. As to the government of Israel, I can only speak as an outsider but I respect anyone who can stand upright in a crowd of lunatic thugs and not become as crazy as those that surround them
