360, best price, for the most games, so more variety, and a better experience than wii,(gets boring) and ps3 is overpriced, hard to get and has little games.

First. Games. Microsoft has been picking up all the rookies with a lot of potential while Sony has stuck with it's companies that have made great games in the past but are old and need to retire. The most relevant example is SqaureEnix. They made some of the greatest games ever, but they can't keep up with the younger generation's needs and wants and will suffer dearly for their inability to keep up. Sony will be plagued by this in the future and Microsoft will pull ahead as it's picking up the younger, more fresh players while Nintendo will continue making kids games and games that are "fun," which will keep them in the race as much if not more than Sony.

Second. Reliability. Ps2 had more problems than any fan would admit. Ps3 has be enduring many, many problems in it's first few weeks of release. Granted 360 had a number of problems in it's initial release, Ps3 still should look better than this.

Third. Capabilities. On a scale of 1-10 for total game graphics, sound and playability, the consoles rate as fallows. Wii 5-6. Xbox 360 8. Ps3 8.5-9. They're really isn't much difference between the 360 and the Ps3. Xbox has a rich online community that Ps3 will have to copy to keep up. Wii's online allows downloads of old NES and some Sega games. Plans for Nintendo 64 games are in the works for download able content.

Ps3 has Blu-ray and if you believe that's the future of DVD then you'd be better off buying a Ps3 than a Blu-ray player as the Ps3 is about $200-$1000 cheaper than a player.

360 has a HD-Drive that you can purchase for $200 and if you believe HD-DVD is the future then there you go.

Wii has no DVD support.

Wii is the cheapest system and it would be "fun." Nintendo has always been a parent friendly system and is great for younger kids.

Ps3 is the most expensive system($599 for the top system,) and would be good as a Blu-ray player.(If you want to argue the hard drive, you can buy a USB drive for XBOX and have more space than Ps3 and still be cheaper.)

360 is the ladder and has a much better set up over Sony and Nintendo. Games are great and you can expect a lot of exclusive games from 360 in 2007.

Get a 360.

For sheer, raw power, the 360 and PS3 win. For innovation and creativity, the Wii beats both hands down.

The 360 and PS3 both boast great graphics, but all they are are essentially more powerful versions of their predecessors. They don't offer anything that's especially new. You'll still sit down in front of the TV and hold the controller tapping buttons, just like you did with the original X-Box and PS2.

The Wii changes the landscape of gaming. The controller is unique, offering you a chance to feel like part of the action. Indeed, your very actions and movements will suddenly have a huge affect on how well you do at a game. Forget using a joypad to take aim at an enemy- you can aim properly, almost like you were using a real gun.

The Wii will also be backwards compatible with the Game Cube from the word go- it has ports for GC games, controllers and memory cards. The virtual console will enable you to download and play hundreds of Nintendo games from nearly every era- NES, SNES and N64. Third-party content will also be introduced to the virtual console system.

The Wii will also connect to the Wi-Fi feature like a DS does.

Did I mention that the Wii is also cheaper than the X-Box 360 and PS3?

The Xbox 360. Why? Because all games for the Xbox 360 are in high-definition and the graphics are pretty much the same as the PS3. There's built-in support for wireless controllers and excellent online gaming, content downloads, and communications via Xbox Live. The console is not only backward compatible with many (but not all) original Xbox titles, but it also doubles as a superior digital media hub and Windows Media extender. The system's online Marketplace allows easy purchases of mini-games, movies, and TV shows. The Xbox 360 delivers the power and performance of a high-end gaming PC, including impressive digital media and networking features.

The Nintendo Wii is only good if you like interactive games.

Get a 360.

In the short term at least, HD will win out over Blu Ray.

Xbox has cornered the market in on line gaming. The PS does not stand a chance in ever catching up with what Xbox has to offer for on line gaming. This is simply a fact that even fans of PS have to admit to.

Xbox has better games and graphics overall.

The Wii is embarassing to even talk about. Do you really want to stand in your TV room and swing your controller around like a monkey with a banana? There is nothing innovative about that cheesy controller. The games are pretty lame and the graphics are horrendous.

you pick...

Wii:
really fun wireless motion controller...

Xbox360:
the best graphix of any system to ever release...

PS3:
its basically a super-computer. Its the most advance game system but it still cant beat the 360's graphix. It also has an internet browser which has Java capabilities and has wireless interactivity with the PSP. And it has a Six-axis controller which means that it is a PS2 controller but has the movable motions which are similar to the Wii's motion controller.

most people didnt that about the ps3 controller. I bet if everyone knew that, then they would realize the ps3 is almost like a homecomputer, a Wii, and an Xbox360 all rolled into one

Depends on what you want.
If you want the latest and greatest: ps3, but keep in mind that no games out there use ps3 at its full potential. So when you buy a ps3 you are hoping they come out with better games.

If you want something cheap, wii is the way to go, plus it comes with a game. But both ps3 and 360 have some interesting interfaces with their camera coming out. eye toy2 and 360 gesture recognition.

360 is ithe compromise inbetween. Good library of games, and wont' set you back 1000 (ps3 + games) but it may. If you decide to buy the 360 with wireless, with the Hard drive, with the HD -DVD player, the cost is almost on par with the PS3.
