I would choose Larry Bird because he had the best and biggest heart for the game. He loved it more than either MJ or Magic (though the two loved the game just as much) So i have to go with Bird, he's just a great guy... all three guys are great but i would choose Bird over the 3 if i had to choose.

Larry Bird:

Led an otherwise ordinary Indiana State team to a 33-0 record and a trip to the NCAA championship

Turned a Celtic team that won only 29 games the year prior to his arrival, into a 61 win playoff contender.

Won at least 60 games in 6 of his first 7 seasons.

Won a NBA championship in only his second season.

Michael Jordan never did that.

If you want to win, then the only answer is Bird!

Close between Magic and MJ, but I will go with Magic b/c he can elevate his entire team more than MJ did in his career. MJ sure can take over a game...but I'm more of a team guy and like someone who can elevate the team like Magic did.

I would pick Magic without any doubt, Magic proven he can play all five postition, Jordan and Birds can't, Magic's showtimes Lakers ruled the world in the 80's, they blow out teams by 20 or 30 points in the playoff, that's awesome.

Close call between Magic and Jordan... Magic made everyone on his team better, which is a rare thing. But Jordan could just take over a game by himself and didn't even need a team - or so it seemed. I would go with Jordan, but not by much.

For sheer basketball artistry, it has to be Michael Jordan. For teamwork and floor leadership, it has to be Magic. For dogged determination against all odds, it has to be Larry Bird. In the end, if I were building a team from scratch, I would sign Magic as my first player and build the team around him.

I would definitely take MJ, no question. But you still need a team to win a championship. Even Michael didn't win it all until he had some sort of supporting cast around him.

Jordan. Not even an afterthought. He was the best clutch player in the game. The other two are great players in their own right, but Jordan was the man. I have never seen anyone come up big time and time again in important games like he did. Offensively and defensivley (which goes unnoticed most of the time) he was the best and who else to have on your team than the best.
