That's a hard question, you don't give many details. Like your age etc. My ex had an affair and my son knew it and used it against him when they had arguments.
If your an adult, I would certainly speak to him about it, what affects it is having on your Mother, if she knows. It depends on if this is the first, or many. He could be going threw a midlife crisis, and might never do it again...I don't think you will be able to change his mind if he doesn't want to stop. Move on with your life if you can.
good luck

I have known a few people with this problem, father or mother. Most find the best way is to ignore it, otherwise it causes too much heartache for too many people..Tell him to be more discrete, if you know then who else knows, maybe it might send him on the straight and narrow.

first of all it shouldn't be affecting you because it's between your mother and father ,don't get involved and let your parents work it out. other wise you are getting caught up in something you can't handle and you will get hurt over nothing.

their is nothing that you can really do about it, I would sit him down and tell him exactly how you feel about it. and that you are very disappointed in him. and you that you don't agree upon how he is doing this to your mom.and your family. and tell him flat out that you don't support him in this.
