all because the woman can be AA or AO and the man can be BB or BO.
AA*BB = only AB
AA*BO = AB or A
AO*BB = AB or B
AO*BO = A or B or AB or O

each person has two genotypes, one from each parent
only the recessive gene needs to be paired with its mate in order for that trait to dominate, all others form pairs and the trait that dominates depends on which types combine. I don't know about blood genotypes. if the mother is AO for example and the father BO (if this combo is possible, don't know sorry) then the child could be AO or BO or AB or O hope this makes sense!
I know with eye colour, brown is dominant. Two brown eyed parents, therefore could have a blue eyed child, but two blue eyed parents could not have a brown eyed child. :mother has blue eyes, so her gene is 'bb', father had blue eyes so his type is 'bb', therefore, child will be 'bb'
mother has brown eyes, but her mom had blue, so mom has Bb
dad has brown eyes, but his dad's were blue, so dad has Bb
they have kids. the first child has brown eyes, BB. the second child has brown eyes Bb, the third child has blue eyes bb (and dad gets suspicious, haha)
hope this helps
hope someone out there knows which blood genotypes are dominant and which are recessive. have a good day

each individual has 2 genotypes, one from each ascertain basically the recessive gene needs to be paired with its mate to be certain that that trait to dominate, all others type pairs and the trait that dominates relies upon on which varieties combine. i do no longer comprehend approximately blood genotypes. if the mum is AO as an occasion and the daddy BO (if this blend is achievable, do no longer comprehend sorry) then the youngster must be AO or BO or AB or O wish it fairly is sensible! i comprehend with eye shade, brown is dominant. 2 brown eyed parents, for this reason could have a blue eyed baby, yet 2 blue eyed parents ought to no longer have a brown eyed baby. :mom has blue eyes, so her gene is 'bb', father had blue eyes so his form is 'bb', for this reason, baby would be 'bb' mom has brown eyes, yet her mom had blue, so mom has Bb dad has brown eyes, yet his dad's have been blue, so dad has Bb they have teenagers. the 1st baby has brown eyes, BB. the 2d baby has brown eyes Bb, the 0.33 baby has blue eyes bb (and pa gets suspicious, haha) wish this facilitates wish somebody accessible knows which blood genotypes are dominant and that are recessive. have a stable day

I would say AB. It actually also depends on what the parents' parent cells are, but I think you can let that go since "i" is a recessive allele. I would say that since A & B are dominant, the traits would most likely go into codominance and form an AB...

It can be A, B, or AB. It cannot be O. They may have the O alleles, but because O is a recessive gene, both parents MUST have it for it to be expressed.
