Its a Philips FW650C Mini Hifi System, 7 CD changer. I have tried a lens cleaner to no avail, any help please.

Try a different CD. It might not be burned correctly.

Either you CD is scratched or your player is dusty on the inside. Try wiping the CD off or blowing in the player. If neither works then a CD player cleaner kit.

not formatted, bad format, bad media, has been finalized in another cd/dvd player, has mp3 or avi files that cant be read

It probably just can't recognize the format. Try to stick to .wma or mp3
