Everybody is pushing Christmas out of the way! It isn't like Christmas anymore! I remember when I was little and we used to color those little Santa's and we used to sing Christmas carols in school. But now everybody is pushing Christmas aside and Hannukah and Kwanzaa is taking its place! I don't mind if we also sing Hannukah and Kwanzaa songs and learn about them and stuff, but what about Christmas? Like in my little sisters' school play! They sing Hannukah and Kwanzaa songs, but no Christmas songs whatsoever! I can't BELIEVE it! And now in school we can't say 'Merry Christmas'! We have to say 'Happy Holidays'! I mean, I really don't mind singing about Hannukah and Kwanzaa and learning about them in school, but there is no Christmas. Who agree with me? What can we do about it?

Yeah I agree Christmas is being pushed out. It's all that politically correct junk. They don't want to offend other religions. I say " To heck with other religions" Christmas is spelled C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S look at the first 6 letter's (Christ) what does that tell you? Christmas is about Jesus' birth. I still say Merry Christmas and if somebody doesn't like it that is too bad.

I know what you mean; a friend and I were just discussing this the other day. Everything is getting too politically correct and everyone seems to be walking on eggshells.

I think it's all about respect. Not everyone believes in Christmas, but a good amount of people do believe in a day that cherishes peace and goodwill. It's really just a state of mind.

We need to stop over analyzing holidays, especially Christmas and just look at it as a day, or a month, to be extra nice to everyone around us.

Corny, I know. :)

My father works interior the workplace there, and his boss instructed him explicitly, "do not say Merry Christmas!" At previous army final 365 days, I picked up some issues for the duration of the holiday season. My identifying to purchase bag mentioned each holiday greeting different than "Merry Christmas." It mentioned chuffed Hanukkah, chuffed Kwanzaa, and so on. "chuffed holiday journeys" and "Season's Greetings" are the politically dazzling thank you to circumvent offending those that don't have fun Christmas for what that's. i've got oftentimes used atheists to have Christmas timber throughout Christmas, yet retailers shouldn't placed it upon themselves to deny those that do have confidence.
