Depends on if you are using a horseshoe black pudding or a straight one. The horseshoe BP is the slowest of the 'curiosity' foods. A straight black pudding with beat the Haggis hands down - but the overall winner in this group has to be Tripe. The intanct muscular stomach lining makes it one of the most efficient and fastest foods around.

The female haggis has four legs the male has six,the black pudding has eight legs and can outrun a haggis on short distances, however on a long race over hurdles it does tend to trip itself up,the haggis tends to be slow because of the whiskey ,and has great difficulty running in a straight line,

A haggis has more legs and so is obviously much faster. On the other hand, I am quite pleased that the black pudding is slower, because it is my favourite to eat and it is so much easier to catch in the wild.

Definitely the Haggis: those wee little puddin' feets are very swift when they hear they're wanted at table.

The Haggi will pounce on the black pudding and make a mincemeat of it.
