twenty four divided by five = 4 R8
the R is the remainder which is the left over so you have to right the R in the answer

24÷5 =
5 goes into 24 ..... 4 times
4 x 5 = 20
24 - 20 = 4
so you could say its 4 times with a remainder of 4... unless u hav to go on and make it a decimal .... in which case i cant help you because i forgot the rest.... dont ever stop doing long division or u will forget it... lik i did =(.....
