Putin has always been known to be a thug; you don't get that far in Russia without dubious morals. As to blowing up the space station, why bother? It's used by many nations, hence the term international space station. Also, NASA will put a permanent station on the moon, making the satellite station irrelevant and retirable.

Even if there is another cold war the U.S will not blow up the space station because you never know when a space shuttle or a space station may burst invented by NASA, at least the crude technology of the Russians has been working since several years and providing assistance to the entire world

and how do you know putin ordered the hit, maybe he's not as in control of his counrty(and secret police) as we thought and as he likes to portray....
