i have never heard of the name JANAY before but i think it is beautiful sounding! maybe janay noel ....janay grace.... i dont know but i think janay is PRECIOUS! it is my pick....

Jasmine. It's "Jazzy" and cool. A very pretty name indeed honestly, I am not so crazy about the other choices, but I am glad most of the names are not too common. There is something to be said for originality.

As much fun as naming our kids can be, we have to be practical. I would encourage you to think long term. Think about the name not for your child, but for an adult. They are going to be an adult longer than they will be a child and they have to have that name in a professional world. People make a lot of assumptions about who we are and what kind of person we are just based on our name (something we had no control over). I don't like what the story is saying, but I don't doubt that it is true. In a better world, I say name your kid what you want.
In the end it is your choice what you name your kid(s), I just wanted to give you some food for thought.

I like Janay the best out of those choices, but over all Mackenzie that is going to be my daughters name when she decides she wants to come out, I'm 2 days overdue now!
