My friend says mean things 2 me, but then covers it up w/ "just kidding." she doesn't know that i know that she's lieing, and it really hurts my feeling when she says those mean things. But she doesn't have a lot of friends, so i don't want 2 hurt her feelings by telling her that i don't want 2 be friends. what should i do?

Well instead of just ending the friendship, tell her that what she says hurts you, even if she IS kidding and ask her to refrain. If she says no or keeps doing it, she obviously doesn't respect you or the fraternal relationship you have built and I would drop her like a bag of hot potatoes. If you trim all of the stress causing fat out of your life, you will fit and happy.

She just says that to have some one to play with but just cause she mean and then says just kidding don't mean she don't like you come on are you sensitive or something well she just don't want to lose you cause like you said she don't have that much friends but just to beware tell her or things would get worse

Sorry to say I would drop her like a bad habit and go on with life not stopping to look back...but that is me. I don't have time for people like her. Good luck to you.

i've had a friend like that 2. just say joking things back to her and if she keeps up, then tell her that you dont like it.

Sounds like she's not too worried about your feelings..
maybe you should just tell her how it really makes you feel and if she cares about you..she'll change..if not..then she's just out to make herself feel better.

jsut don't invite her to any outings that you go to. Ignore her. Act uninterested in her topics. she will leave.
