Connecting a TiVo box to Dish would only work using an analog input. You would loose some signal quality due to the conversion from digital to analog and back to digital.
I would suggest instead of buying a TiVo, going with a Dish DVR directly. The cost will probably be the same or very close. With TiVo you will incur a recurring monthly service charge, I am not sure what it is, but i think is $10.00 plus . Dish will charge you an additional $5.00 DVR charge. So both services keep in you pocket.

There is no TiVo model that will do dual tuner with a box/boxes, nor can use the second tuner on your 322 receiver. In your circumstance, you need two separate TiVo DVRs, and two separate satellite receivers, to record two satellite channels at once. To get dual tuners on a Series 2 DT, you need analog cable, and that just doesn't come from satellite.

Yes, it is. You can use a separate TIVO box with your Dish Network box. In essence, just think of your Dish Network box as your cable box -- as far as tivo is concerned, they are no different.
Good luck.

You can get the equivalent of a Tivo through Dish and they send it to you. I have one and I love it!!!!!
Here is the Dish site:

I had Direct TV but I did not like it. Then I got cable and I hated it.
Dish Network is wonderful - I am addicted to it.
