Being a mother of a teenage girl and boy... I am guessing they are in a hurry to get to the sale at the mall or to get home to change before somebody sees them wearing the same clothes twice in a day.

They don't drive more wrecklessly than teenage boys.
Your insurance company can tell you that. Statistics show that boys between the ages of 16 - 25 have the highest record of accidents than any other portion of the population.
But to directly answer your question, teenagers (of either gender) drive stupidly fast, and unfortunately wreckless, is because they believe they're infallible. "Stuff like that" doesn't happen to them, only to other people.

becuase there crazy and reckless.
the teenage girl is the new teenage boy.
society has been on a ball clipping rampage recently.
imagine what a male rebel is, these days...got a mental picture, he's wimp huh,
now picture a typical teenage girl...she's a tough little cookie huh?
