Has she been to the employment agencies in your county?

She may want to talk to a job counselor and get her resume in shape. She sounds like she can do just about anything.

There are jobs out there (depending upon where you live). I live in Ohio and the job situation is poor. But,there are jobs available.

Has she been looking in the want ads in the paper on Sunday?
Also, check out websites like Monster.com and Career.com.

What did she go to college for? If she graduated with a degree from any of them, that would be an obvious first choice.
If not, then try receptionist, administrative assistant, office manager, day care worker, seamstress, etc.
Tell her "Good Luck!", the job market is tough these days.
