it says to find each product? how do i solve these and show my work? I've looked in my book and I dont understand someone put it in laymans terms plz

Say each one looks like this: (1 + 2)(3+ 4)
First multiply 1*3, then 2*3, then 2*4, then 3*4. Combine terms and you are done.

I'll do the first one for you, then you can do the rest.
(2A + B) (2A - B) = 4a^2 + 2AB - 2AB -B^2 = 4A^2 - B^2. Done.

OK, just one more - (W - 6) (W - 3 ) =
w^2 - 6W - 3W+ 18, or W^2 - 9W + 18. Done.

for each of them you use the term "F.O.I.L." This means First Outter Inner Last..that's the order u multiply them..soo in the 1st one..you do 2a x 2a then 2a X -b then 2a x b and finally +b x -b...i hope i helped!

Use the foil method. (first, outer, inner , last)

(2a+b) (2a-b)=
4a^2 -2ab+2ab-b^2=
4a^2-b^2. the 2ab cancel
